Yes, I said it...Free! AVVO is a legal advice site that offers advice for free. You can post a question and get an answer from lawyers ranging from San Francisco to New York and everything from debt to entertainment. Plus, there's a list of guides that you can actually look under if you have a specific topic...and I know those of us who are in the field could use a little help.

Indiegrrl

Hey everyone! In case you didn't know there is this great organization called Indiegrrl which is dedicated to women in the arts! As part of Indiegrrl's overall goal, it holds a yearly conference (along with other events) to:

"build a community of women to support each other in their artistic careers."

This year's conference is in August and in Nashville, TN with a weekend filled with workshops, artists and even mentoring sessions. So get your gear and get ready to mingle! I know I will in the heart of country music! See you there next month!
