Kickstarter

I recently came across an announcement from my Facebook feed about a high school class mate funding his senior thesis on Kickstarter.  Kickstarter is a site that let's users post information, videos, etc., to fund projects they're working on whether it be film, music or art.  Visitors and supporters then help back the project with whatever they can give.

I love that a site like this exists and helps those who truly have something to give or show the world but may be low on funds.  And for its great minds doing so, kudos to you for finding a way to do so.  Please help spread the word about this amazing site and those who reaching their goals:

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Top, Literally

If you're looking into doing something crazy and out there to get your band notice....go straight to the top...and yes I mean all the pun intended.  The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have become the first band to film a music video on the Empire State Building's iconic 86th floor.  According to the Guardian, many bands have applied to in the past but turns out the Yeahs were the lucky band to make the cut.

So if you think whatever idea you have is crazy enough to get some attention....and hopefully not illegal...run with it and maybe you'll go straight to the top too!
